Greetings friends,
This weekend is bitter-sweet for most of us as our friend and worship-leader Nicole will lead worship one final time before her and her family move on to their next chapter of life. We’ve been praying for them and what this means for them, and I ask you to pray along with us. Come worship with her once more as she leads us to the throne this Sunday!
A week and a half ago I had full shoulder replacement from an old dog injury. I’m not a patient, patient, so I’m eager to get back into the pulpit to preach out of the book of Luke. Besides, I want to be there to worship with Nicole, too! I pray everyone will join us!
This week in Luke chapter 21, Jesus is, once again, teaching and preparing His disciples for what’s about to happen. When last we met, the Pharisees and Jesus conducted a Q & A of each other but this time, it’s the disciples who have the questions “When will the end come?” and “What will be the signs?”
Informed believers are prepared believers! Jesus is coming back soon. I pray you’re ready when He arrives to snatch us up to Heaven in the blink of an eye!

Friday September 11 @ 7pm we’ll be joined by comedian Jeff Allen for a night of laughter mixed with Jeff’s powerful salvation testimony. This is the perfect event to invite your unsaved friends/family to. Admission is free but we ask you to bring a grocery bag of non-perishable foods with you to help fill up the Eagle Food Bank. Many seniors within our communities are struggling to make ends meet and we can/should help. Let’s bless them as we have the ability to do so.
