‍Greetings friend,

This week we continue in our study of 1 Timothy with chapter 6. The early church faced some real challenges in meeting the needs of their people, both those who attended and those in leadership. But with grace and the Spirit, Paul provided Pastor Timothy with the wisdom needed to minister wisely to a group of folks who were being overlooked – the elderly, and widows. I hope you can join us as we continue this verse-by-verse study.

As we approach the end of 2026, I want to take a moment to say a heart-felt thank you. Your generosity in the areas of Time, Talents, and Treasure is what allows us to reach out both locally and globally with the message of the Gospel. One of the goals I have set in place here at Restored is to be mortgage-free in 2028. We began with a $3 million-dollar Building Loan, or $240,000 a year. But, due to the generosity of many of you, right now that debt has dropped to approximately $1.5 million dollars! Wow, Thank You!  Now, imagine what we could do for the kingdom if we paid the remainder off and freed up $240,000 a year! An outreach pastor? Another church-plant and missionary? Our vision is bigger than our capacity right now and I hope you’ll consider helping us get our debt retired, once and for all. If you haven’t already given to the Building or want to do more, as you plan your final year-end giving, I want to invite you to pray about helping us finish this year strong and launch into 2027 with powerful momentum.

Here are a few quick things to keep in mind for your year-end contributions:

  • Deadlines for tax-deductibility: To receive 2026 tax credit, online gifts must be submitted by 11:59 PM on December 31. Mailed checks must be postmarked by December 31.

  • You can also give gifts of real estate or stocks.

  • Easy ways to give: You can give securely online, drop your gift in the giving boxes over the coming weeks, or call the church for more information.

  • Giving Statements: Annual contribution statements for your tax records will be sent out in January. Please ensure your contact details are up to date.

Thank you again for your generous heart for God and the Gospel. We only want what He wants!
