Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the technical production of Sunday worship services, rehearsals, special services, and church events

• Support audio, video, lighting, livestream, presentation, and other production systems as assigned

• Assist with stage setup, equipment preparation, cable management, teardown, and resetting production spaces

• Operate production equipment and software based on training and assigned responsibilities

• Help prepare presentation content, service elements, videos, graphics, lyrics, and other media as needed

• Assist with livestreaming and video production for services and special events

• Perform routine equipment checks before services and events

• Identify and communicate technical issues and assist with troubleshooting problems

• Help maintain production equipment, including cables, microphones, computers, cameras, lighting equipment, and other technical resources

• Work closely with the Worship Ministry to support rehearsals and ensure production elements are prepared for services

• Support and encourage production volunteers

What We are Looking For

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• An interest in church production, audio, video, lighting, livestreaming, or related technology

• Previous production experience is preferred but not required for a candidate who demonstrates aptitude and a willingness to learn

• Familiarity with digital audio consoles, presentation software, video systems, cameras, livestreaming platforms, or lighting systems is a plus

• Strong attention to detail

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to follow instructions and established production processes

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced live production environment

• Willingness to learn new technology and continually develop production skills

• A servant-leadership mindset and willingness to support both staff and volunteers

Schedule

This is a part-time position requiring regular availability for Sunday worship services as well as selected rehearsals, special services, holidays, and church events. Because much of church production occurs outside traditional business hours, the position will require some evening and weekend availability.

Ministry Expectations

At Restored Community Church, production is more than a technical function, it is a ministry.
The Production Assistant should understand that every microphone, camera, lighting cue, presentation slide, and livestream serves a greater purpose: helping remove distractions so people can encounter Jesus Christ and engage fully in worship and the Word.
The Production Assistant is expected to demonstrate a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical Christian character.
